By the way, this image comes from a story in the NY Times about a couple that transformed their 435 sq ft studio into a one bedroom - on a budget. i got the blues
The color blue has been on my mind lately. And I need to do something about that. My home and my closet could use the following:
Isamu Noguchi Lamp, MoMAstore, $199.95 - I actually first saw this lamp back in NY in December. I wanted it, but the $275 price tag made me quickly step back. It's on sale now, but still out of my price range. Boo.
Pleated Tie-waist Dress, Gap, $59.50 - Versatile dress that you can dress up or down. Great for spring...the current weather here in the bay area has been awesome!
Silk Bangle, Banana Republic, $24 - The print actually reminds me of the Noguchi lamp. So since I can't have the lamp, I'll wear it on my wrist.
Rue Bahia Bag, Anthropologie, $198 - I saw this bag in the store and was this close to buying it. It has a shoulder strap, a longer messenger strap, and roomy enough to fit all my stuff. And it's blue, I don't have a blue bag! Hmm, so why didn't I buy it?

fun at ikea
I don't think I've ever gone to Ikea and not bought anything. It's one of those places where I find things I don't reaaaaaally need, but hey, at their low prices, why not.
This past weekend I went and got my bedroom a shelf! Along with some home accents.
